May 2020

Another month of life during a pandemic...

Fortunately and unfortunately Chad went back to work.  His scheduled picked up quite a bit and we missed having him around.

Peyton and Avery finished up with distance learning. They worked so hard. I am so grateful we switched schools when we did.  They were able to continue learning new material, and their teachers were so amazing.

Landry did some preschool at home.  He loves to do "cards"--sight words taped on the closet door.  He is reading some words and sentences!

The kids got to sleep over at Grandma's a couple times which meant Mom and Dad got to have a couple dates.

The kids were able to have some play dates with friends.  It has been so nice to see people!!

We got some backyard improvements...Chad and Steve built a bike shed, and Chad made a little door in the fence so we can have better access to playing with our neighbor friends.

We attempted to purchase a new home in our neighborhood---just a little upgrade, but it didn't work out.

We celebrated Mother's Day.

We enjoyed backyard water fun.

Chad found time to go mountain biking--dragging Peyton along.

The kids ate A LOT of popsicles.

Chad and I watched Primal Survivor pretty much every night.

And of course, we celebrated our sweet baby girl turning 7! ( How did that happen?)

And with more restrictions being lifted, we got to celebrate Avery's birthday with the family.

Avery got her fingers slammed in a garage door at our friends house.  That was a very bad day for many reasons but this was the icing on the cake.

Check out the hand in the pocket...too cute.

 AVERY'S BIRTHDAY PLAY DATE
We didn't really want to have a bunch of kids over for Avery's party but we surprised her with her BFF.  Olivia came over to play eat pizza and watch Trolls 2

Avery was having some birthday pictures and Landry needed some too.
