Pre Landry August

We had a great August waiting for Landry to make his appearance.  We did a lot of fun things as a family: attending a baptism, playing at the park, backyard pool parties, going to the swimming pool and outdoor water park aka the Kasson pool and going to the beach.  We also got to attend National Night Out. They had a blow up slide which was by far the favorite of the night and Avery especially loved the firetruck.  

A couple weekends before Landry was born we went to Niagra Cave.  It was really cool but not quite as intense as I expected.  There were 200 stairs!  Peyton was pretty nervous so Chad ended up having to carry him the whole time which left me packing Avery.  Can you imagine!?  38 week pregnant and carrying a 2 year old!  I was worn out.  Definitely got a work out!  It was a great family adventure.

One of my favorite things was preparing the car for Landy's arrival.  We have three car seats in the back seat.  Its pretty cozy.  Peyton was originally in the middle.  The first day was madness. "She's touching me!"  "Keep yourself to yourself, Avery!"  Avery is our little instigator and will do anything to get a rise out of P.  But there was one really nice moment when Avery and Peyton held hands.  Avery exclaimed "I'm getting married."  It was sweet and they were happy.  It made me smile and helped put my mind at ease about adding our little Landry to the family.

STORY:  The Bournes were out of town for 3 weeks! We missed them a ton!  Haven wanted to give Peyton a kiss and Ashley said, "I don't think Peyton wants to kiss you." and P chimed in with "Yes I do!" And so this happened.  Haha.  P's first kiss!
