May

We kicked off May with a little trip to Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis to send off Grandma Debbie.  We were very sad to see her go but we are really excited that she gets to come back when baby Landry is born.  After Grandma left, we got sand for our sandbox-a huge hit, Peyton started gymnastics which he LOVED and Avery got hit with a pretty nasty stomach virus that lasted about 5 days!  

The timing for the illness in our house couldn't have been better.  Avery tapered off just in time for our family vacation to the Wisconsin Dells and Peyton got sick on our last night.  No sickness would have been better but we'll take what we can get.  

Also in May, Chad had some time off after our vacation so he took advantage of it by painting our entry.  We also spent lots of time with our friends, Peyton got his first bike-an early birthday present, we got to do some rainy day science and Peyton and Chad got to have a camp out in the basement after the Father-Son Camp Out was rained out. Mostly, we finally got to enjoy some warmth and sunshine!
