Family Vacation 2015
When Chad and I first had Peyton we decided that we would always go on a family vacation with just our little family and somewhere other than to visit relatives. It has been such a wonderful thing for our family to do together. This year, we we weren't able to do anything too big. With interviews and a baby coming we decided our family vacation would need to be scaled back a bit. We decided to go to the Wisconsin Dells-best choice we ever made! It was a huge hit.
Not only are the Dells just a short drive away but our hotel was amazing and the indoor water park was right down the hall from our room. Peyton and Avery loved staying at the hotel! I think that would have been vacation enough for them. And the water park was perfect. There was so much to do. Some of the high lights included the Lazy River, tube slides, jet ski water guns, the water playground and the wave pool. I think the only thing we had to stay away from was the big bucket the dumped water-kind of took us by surprise one time and it was not a good surprise.
Some other things we enjoyed? The outlets that were right next to the hotel. Avery got a little more worn out than P at the water park and opted to go shopping one afternoon instead. We also loved eating at a restaurant where our food was delivered by a toy train.
Our vacation timing couldn't have been better. (Well it could have, but for the situation it couldn't have been better.) Avery had been sick with a nasty stomach bug and was on the mend on the way and Peyton got hit with the virus the night before it was time to go home. We had a perfect day and a half of family fun.

Too tired for story time
To say Peyton loves the water is definitely an understatement
Watching tornado videos
She got her purse without any prompting from me. Born to shop!
