"I like applesauce, Mom"

One of the hardest parts as a medical spouse is not being able to tell your kids when their dad is coming home.  On this particular day, Avery started watching for Dad around 4:30.  I'm pretty sure he came home after she had already gone to bed.

Special Time with Dad

I bought myself some flowers at Costco...it was one of those days

Hanging out on the ramp

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!

PEYTON-OGRAPHY

P insisted that Chad would like an M&M cake for his birthday dinner with friends

The snow wasn't great for snowman building but Peyton said "Next time Daddy can build us a taller snowman." Thanks, bud.

"I'm a knight"

Avery was wired after our Egg Hunt, probably from all the candy.  The only way I could get her to lay down was with me...I'll take it!

Making play dough

The day after  Chad got home from Vegas my friend texted me and said "Have fun with your husband!" I snapped this picture. I guess a week of R&R really wears you out.

SLURPEES!!
