August-Part 1: Utah & Idaho
On August second the four of us hopped on an airplane to kick off our month long vacation. 1st stop...Utah. We flew into Salt Lake where we met up with Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Steve. We got lunch at Café Rio and walked around temple square. Then we spent the next couple days at the Sydenham's. We were fortunate that baby Ryan was being blessed the first weekend of our vacation. We are so grateful we were able to participate in his special day.
On Sunday after Church we headed to Grandma Kelli and Grandpa Jeff's house. We had a blast! Peyton's favorite part, hands down was riding 4 wheelers with Daddy and Grandpa. Avery loved riding 4 wheelers too! While we were in Murtaugh we ate Fiesta Ole, colored cattails, had dinner with Rob & Malinda's family, Peyton picked Sunflowers, played Duplos, visited our good friends the Klinglers, Chad and I got to go on a date to the temple and dinner-a huge thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for babysitting and we just enjoyed hanging out together.
After a few days in Murtaugh we took another short drive to Rexburg. But first, we stopped in Ucon to see Jason & Nikell's family. We even got to meet Lizzy and Zander who had only been home from the hospital for a week. All of Chad's siblings and their families were able to come to Rexburg. We haven't been all together in a long time. The kids had a blast playing together and it was fun to catch up with everyone. We also got to visit Grandma and Grandpa Mulkay and enjoy a fun ride on a historic merry-go-round. Peyton wasn't too sure at first but he and Avery both ended up loving it. It was an awesome visit.
