June....

How can it be August already.  I have been so bad at keeping track of our family for the past few months.  It has been a whirl wind of craziness around the Watts house. I can't even remember much of the details of June.  I was so ready to leave Baltimore and get back to our home and routines that I started packing boxes a month early.  We didn't see Chad much in June but we were grateful he took our last weekend in Baltimore off so we could spend one last weekend in DC and hang out with the Karrasch's before heading back to Minnesota.

So what did we do in June????

-Tot lot--enjoying time with my park friend Rael

WE'RE HOME!!!!

REFLECTIONS ON BALTIMORE:
People have asked me how we enjoyed our Baltimore experience and if it was hard coming home.  Baltimore was a great experience. We created a lot of memories there.  There are things I definitely miss about it--including pink scrubs.  It was hard to be away from home and it was a pretty lonely experience but it was a time of great growth for our family and me personally.  We never really did make friends in Baltimore but we survived.  Chad was able to have exposure to many cases he would not otherwise have had in Rochester, but he was also happy to get back to Mayo.   We loved living close to family and being in such a close proximity to much of our country's history. We learned that the East Coast probably isn't for us but we could live anywhere as long as we have each other--as corny as that sounds.  Would we do the Baltimore experience again?  I hesitate to say it...but yes.  It was hard but worth it.
