Halloween 2013

Happy Halloween 2013
We had an awesome Halloween this year!  Peyton was super into the ghosts, pumpkins, bats and all that jazz. We made monsters, a ghost, a skeleton and colored Halloween pictures.  And we especially enjoyed our neighborhood décor; brown monster door, Halloween cat and sider aka spider. {I never thought I'd be one to tell my son spiders are not scary.} We went out of our way  every day for the past month to drive by these houses.  The other day after grocery shopping, Peyton couldn't wait to show his block of cheese to the spider!

Anyway, Halloween was low key this year.  We went to our ward Trunk or Treat on the 26th.  Peyton was a farmer this year and Avery a flower.  Peyton was a farmer because he was "so sad" when I tried to put any other costume on him.  We tried Peter Pan and it did not go over well.  I made sure I documented so he can see that we tried to get him in a costume.
Trunk or Treat was a hit.  Peyton did an awesome job saying "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you".  Avery was a great helper passing out candy!

Chad had to work on Halloween so we played it low key.  We ate some candy and watched The Gold Pumpkin-Peyton's favorite episode of Jake & The Never Land Pirates. Then the kids went to bed and I enjoyed reading a book while avoiding trick or treaters.
