June: Part 3

The second to last weekend in June we blessed Avery which meant the Watts house was full.  Grandpa Steve, Grandma Kelli, Grandpa Jeff and Uncle Robert all came for the weekend and Grandma Kelli stayed until the end of the week. 

While the fam was here, Chad took us down to the Mayo for a look around.  We sat with the Mayo brothers for a photo-op and Robert even played a little tune on one of the Mayo pianos.  We had a big lunch following Avery's blessing with just the family and our friend Rich.  It was so fun to have family here and we were sad to see them all go.

Our week with Grandma Kelli was great.  Peyton enjoyed playing, especially on Grandma's iPad.  While Grandma was here we went to the park, went shopping, played and ate treats.  Grandma even stayed home with the kids so Chad and I could have one last date. 

June 28 was officially our first day as a threesome-Mom, Peyton and Avery.  Chad was on call so we really got the first dose of real life.  We started out the day by going to the zoo.  Have I mentioned that Peyton is obsessed with the goats? Then lunch time came.  It was the first overwhelming moment-I was talking to my mom, Peyton was in such a good mood and Avery was crying too but we got through it.  Then we had a play-date with our friends Jill and Kate and even ventured out to have dinner with daddy...And we survived!!! 

June truly was an awesome month.
