March Part 2

The end of March was just as eventful as the beginning--in a good way.  All of visiting Reno was awesome but I got so caught up in my travel log that I forgot to mention one of the very best parts of the trip.  Because my parents are so amazing, they kept Peyton so Chad and I could attend the temple, wait for it...TOGETHER!  Wow!  That hasn't happened since P was about 3 months or so old.  It was wonderful to be in the temple but even more wonderful to be there together. I so wish we lived closer to the temple.

As soon as we got home from Nevada, Chad and I had to get right to work.  We had carpet installed 5 days after we got home. Because of Chad's crazy schedule, we had to starting moving furniture Sunday with carpet not coming until Thursday.  My mom warned me that getting carpet is almost as bad as moving.  I will second that motion.  The new carpet is wonderful though.  We LOVE it!  It makes our house feel like a whole new home.  We couldn't be happier with the decision we made to get it now when we could actually enjoy it.

While we were gone, Peyton got really used to having Daddy around.  I have decided that I am an utter disappointment to my son.  He asks for "Dad-Chad" constantly.  When we went to visit Chad at work Peyton said "Dad-Chad" the whole car ride and as soon as Chad walked back into the elevator to go back to work P immediately said, "Dad-Chad all gone?"  I love that he loves his Daddy!  I love watching them wrestle and I am convinced Daddy is the favorite because he is always giving Peyton cookies and candy...such a softy.

Since the undressing incident in Reno, Peyton has been obsessed with getting dressed.  He is constantly trying to put on clothes.  He especially loves shirts and socks!

Finally, the end of March brought "Quarter Change".  Chad has started a new rotation.  We are hoping he will be around a little more during the next three months.  It's also really weird to think that Avery will be born this quarter!
