Merry Christmas
I can't believe another Christmas has come and gone. It really felt like it snuck up on us this year. Next year, I am determined to be more organized and to focus more on Christ. Our family had a wonderful Christmas. With Chad's crazy work schedule, we celebrated Christmas Eve on Saturday. We ordered pizza, opened our new Christmas jammies, ate rice crispy treats and watched The Grinch. After Peyton went to bed Chad and I played Scrabble and fell asleep watching Christmas Vacation.
"Christmas Day" came a day early for us as well. Santa knew that Chad had to work today so he stopped by on the afternoon of the 24th during Peyton's nap. We were all very spoiled by Santa, each other and our families. It was a fun Christmas. It was exciting to see Peyton discover toys and want to play with them as soon as he got them out of the wrapping paper.
Finally, I am so grateful that things worked out the way they did with Chad's work schedule. This morning at 4:30am, Peyton woke up vomiting. Sad. I think he threw up a total of 4 times. He had a pretty miserable morning but felt pretty good in the afternoon. We spent the day rocking, reading books, playing with new toys, snuggling, watching movies, doing laundry and listening to Christmas music. We are very excited to spend time with Daddy tomorrow.
