All Things Peyton
Peyton is into EVERYTHING....literally.
The kid never rests (except when he sleeps). He is always on the go. The other day--when P woke up at 6:30am--Chad and I were saying it would be so nice if Peyton would just crawl in bed and lay with us. No, he must explore, jump on the bed and attack Mom and Dad. He pulls everything out of drawers, cupboards, whatever he can get his hands on! BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!!
The other day we bought Peyton his first coloring book and crayons. I thought he would be fine sitting on the kitchen floor while I put away the groceries. Before I knew it, something was swishing around in Peyton's mouth and the tip of the green crayon was missing. Unsupervised coloring=green teeth!
Isn't he just so handsome & grown up! --Definitely a lefty!
His first colored page w/help from Mom :)
Remember how Peyton is way into dragging things? He especially loves chords ie: phone chargers, iPod chargers, camera USB cords. He also LOVES belts. He likes pulling them around and apparently he likes to wear them as scarves. Another thing that requires more parental supervision...
Very proud of himself
He is starting to notice door handles too...planning his escape I guess. Who could blame him?!
Don't you just love lazy Sunday mornings. I don't think Peyton got out of his jammies until about 12:40 ish. Heck! Chad and I don't usually get out of our PJs until like 11! I LOVE it. Well, this Sunday we decided to let Peyton play piano all by himself; he usually sits on Mom's lap, slapping her hands away. Doesn't show in this picture but, he looks at the book while he plays. So cute!
When we are in the house, Peyton loves to dump out toys and go walking through them. Especially his blocks. I thought for sure he would love stopping through the leaves. He wouldn't hardly touch them! I couldn't believe it. But he does love being outside! Naturally he loved walking outside while Dad raked leaves.
Watching Dad
Checking out the leaves...but not getting too close!
Daddy raking! So happy!
Ahhh...these boys...
Such an admirer of Dad
Helping Dad bag the leaves....He actually touched them! One at a time.
I was going to try and get a picture of Mom and P too BUT, Peyton discovered the street and had to be underarm carried, kicking and screaming into the house. SAD. So yes, I was there (obviously--who else would take the pictures) I held the bag open for the bagging of the leaves. :)
