1. Laughs

Peyton doesn't give laughs freely.  He laughs when...

-You blow raspberries on his lower belly

-You tickle his "tootsies"

-You play "peek-a-boo" or something of the sort

But when you get him to laugh, he really laughs!

Usually he is so camera shy but I guess my gulps were just too hilarious.

{I was telling him to swallow his mush and was gulping to emphasize.  Haha}

So here it is...captured on video...Peyton's sweet laugh.

2. First Trip To The Zoo

Chad was off today so we decided to hit the Oxbow Zoo.  I guess this wasn't technically Peyton's first trip to the Zoo--We went when he was just a week old! 

I don't think he cared too much about the animals, but he loved being outside and looking around.  He LOVES to be outside.  If I've got a fussy P, we hit the front porch!

(We actually saw a few animals this time that we never saw before--I think because it was always so hot)

I guess this guy felt threatened by us.  His feathers were down when we first saw him.  Did you know the feathers make a loud "shoop"-like sound when they spread out?  We had no idea!

Daddy & P and the bald eagles.  They were very active today too.

Peyton really wasn't sad.  The wind was blowing a little and made his eyes water.  That's why he has a little tear :)
