Chubby Cheeker
My AMAZING friend Alexandra sent me a book by Hilary Weeks for Christmas. It couldn't have come at a better time. I remember having such a bad week.
MOTHERHOOD IS HARD!
Peyton was finally having a nap when I recieved the book and I read the ENTIRE thing. I laughed, I cried and I felt better about my current situation. It truely was a tender mercy.
Read it. It's great!
Anyway...
In the introduction Hilary Weeks writes her hopes for writing the book....
The second hope is that you will feel
...the power of your influence as a mother
...the love and support of our Heavenly Father
...that you can do all you ahve been asked to do
...inspired to continue giving your best
...a desire to fill another sippy cup, make another meal, find another missing shoe, and wipe another food-covered, chubby-cheeked face.
Well, I want to wipe this chubby cheeker face forever!
(He was laughing so hard because I was singing "Apples and Banannas"...He loves it. We had to stop singing so he could actually eat!)
