Until Next Year

Well, I finally did it.

Something came over me and I took my Christmas decor down.

It's a new year.

No sense to be living in the past.

I can just look ahead to next year.

I have to confess that I am still listening to one Christmas CD.

Last year my brother, Jason, started a new tradition...

Make and share a Christmas CD every year.

I look forward to it because there are always great memories that are attached to some of the songs

AND my brother has awesome taste in music.

Last year, there was one song that really stood out to me from the CD

Friendly Beasts, by Garth Brooks.

And it seems that this is becoming a tradition as well.

This year it was

Just A Kid, by Kenny Chesney

It really got me thinking about what an amazing man the savior is and was when he was on the earth.

How he must have felt and how incredible his life's mission was.

I think about all of us and how sometimes I feel like I'm "Just A Kid" at times, especially when life becomes overwhelming.

 But just like the savior, we can do our Father's will, trust in him and know everything will be ok because of Him. 

I know Christmas is over.

This is my last hoorah for the season.
