After this post I should pretty much be caught up!
WHAAHOOO!!!
--------------------------------
I was just thinking tonight about being a mom...
sorry, a bit sentimental.
NOTE: This is coming from a rough bedtime.

Being a mom has been THE hardest thing I have ever done.
For some CRAZY reason, I thought I would be a pro.
I thought being a mom would be a piece of cake.
I thought staying home would be the funnest thing in the world.
{Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it}
But babies are hard work--Who knew? Certainly not me.
Some moms make it look so easy.
And maybe it's just me.
I like order.
I like schedules.
Things babies don't always stick to.
I think I am not only supposed to learn patience,
I think I'm supposed to learn to CHILL OUT! :)
But let me just say,
THESE moments make it all worth it!
I LOVE this guy!!
Enjoy!

He does love those fingers...or maybe the whole fist :) First ones are just hard. Lots to learn. Hang in there, you're doing great. He looks loved and well cared for.

I was the exact same way when I had my first, thought it would be so much fun then I was totally stressed out about sleep schedules and whatever. I know it varies from mom to mom but I love when they are older and able to participate in things, like games and pretend and parks and crafts and conversation, etc. Having a baby is a huge adjustment, but you will find your stride.

Amanda, I've seen you in action and you're a great mommy! Don't ever doubt yourself; we're always our worst critic.

Peyton is looking so much like Chad.
