4 Years Ago...

Chad & I went on our very

1st DATE!

And wasn't it a disaster?! haha

Chad picked me up and we drove with the intention to go to a local Italian restaurant Portofinos.  Chad didn't know Reno very well, and I had never been to the restaurant before.  We couldn't find it.

So we went to Bajio instead. 

(A little more laid back--a little more Amanda & Chad)

THEN, the plan was to go Mini Golfing.  Golf courses closed...

THEN, we went to get Ice Cream @ Cold Stone.

THEN, it was off to the movies, but all the movies were too late.  We both had school the next day.

(It was Wednesday after all. Oh, and PS: I had a test the next day)

THEN, Chad decided, "I'll take her to my apartment to watch a movie...what could go wrong?"

We STARTED to watch Happy Gilmore and guess what!?  The DVD player BROKE! Chad ended up having to buy a new DVD player...one that we still have today.

THEN, with no movie to watch, Chad & I looked and talked about the people on the Singles Ward Directory...yep...you read that right! :)

10:30 pm I was back at home after Chad found out I had a test. 

(What a gentleman--or maybe he just wanted it to be over)

I must say...

this was the best/most memorable date I have ever been on!!!

None of the "bad" things mattered to me.  I liked Chad
(still do!)

I actually enjoyed how frustrated Chad got that night. It was pretty cute.

Needless to say

We had another date that Friday.

& We were "together" on Saturday. 

FAST....but when you know, you know.
