Round 2

SO....
I wasn't going to post today.   Wasn't really feeling it.  We had an awful evening and morning.  Peyton had a hard time.  He was fussy, restless, sleepless, gassy and there were a lot of tears from both parties.  It's hard with Chad working at 4:30 and not getting home until later in the evening.  But we made it through and Chad was a super sport helping out even with the early morning.  Oh the joys! 

THANK GOODNESS WE'VE HAD A MUCH BETTER AFTERNOON!!!!

Oh that transition to being a first time mommy is hard! I remember it all too well. many tears on both ends. Some unasked for advice (just because you never know when someone's advice will actuyally be spot on): If you really think he is crying a ton I would ask his doctor about acid reflux. It is pretty common and treatable. Otherwise, I would just work on helping him sleep! Every baby is different, but mine LOVE the swaddle. Even if they act like they like having their arms up by their face, they sleep longer and feel more secure in the swaddle. And most don't like to be awake for more than and hour or two. Good luck!
