HAS ARRIVED!!!

(Finally)

On Saturday morning (8/27) Chad and I went for a walk and during the walk I thought maybe I was leaking (again).  I started having contraction about every 7-5 minutes...not super intense or painful but nevertheless we headed off to the hospital.

When we got to triage, of course, my contractions STOPPED! and I wasn't really "leaking" anymore (appologies again for details).  But as is standard procedure they did the ultrasound and the fluid looked a little low so they gave us a choice---go home or be induced!  How could we turn down such an offer?! We'd almost been waiting 41 weeks!

We got all checked in to the hospital and they started the Pitocin at about 1pm and we waited.  We watched a few movies, played some Skipbo, watched the Cowboys kick the Vikings butt :)   and at 12:07am on August 28th we welcomed Peyton Daniel Watts, weighing 7lbs 10oz (a lot bigger than I expected) and measuring 20 3/4 in, into our family. 

Everyone was right...He was worth the wait!
