Zollman Zoo/Anniversary

Yesterday, Chad and I went to the Zollman Zoo.  It's a free zoo they have in Byron which is about 10-15 minutes from us.  They rescue animals that are hurt or sick in the wild and bring them here to care for them.  Pretty cool.  It was a pretty nice day so we thought it would be a fun little adventure for our anniversary (Monday). I took a few pictures of some of the animals-I did my best with the fences...

PS: All animals in the zoo are native to Minnesota

Chad said Earl had a corn planter like this so we had to have a picture.  You can't see it but Chad has some grass in his mouth.

They have a lot of prarie restoration-these are just some cool flowers

Chad & I have a hard time waiting to give each other presents when occations roll around. Chad said, since we went on an anniversary date we should be able to exchange presents....so we did....2 days early.
