Olmstead County Fair

Chad and I ventured to the fair on Friday night.  I went to the fair in Reno once and it was a bad experience so this was my first real fair.  Chad said it was nothing compared to the Twin Falls fair so someday we will have to experience that~But I enjoyed our experience.

First
My personal favorite part was the Miracle of Birth Center.  It just opened here I guess and was the home of baby animals. And since my favorite animal is the pig, we just had to see the piglets!
Aren't they so cute?
I couldn't believe how big the mom was...never seen a pig that big!
 Dinner Time
When Chad and I were at Disney Land, there was one day we didn't eat cheese and crackers/cliffbars/pudding/fruit snacks for lunch.  We got these GIGANTIC corn dogs {usually I'm not a huge fan of corn dogs} that were amazing.  Before we headed to the fair, Chad mentioned corn dogs.  I was salavating! There was going to be one disappointed pregnant lady at the fair if there wasn't a corn dog.  There was!   I got a "jumbo" and Chad got the "jurrascic" (2 hot dogs dipped in batter...longer than a foot)  So DELICIOUS! Wish we would have thought about taking a picture before Chad was already through his first hot dog...(He eats way too fast)

All the food

 Rides
Obviously we didn't ride any, but they were fun to see.

 Petting Zoo
Now this was the most BIZARRE petting zoo I have ever been to...some really random animals on top of the normal goats, cows, sheep...
Baby Fainting Goat...wish we could have seen them get startled.  (youtube it...it's hilarious)

Zebra????

Wallaby???

*Chad would want this shared*
The Zebra shared a pen with a donkey.  Next to Zebra and Donkey was a camel.  The camel stuck it's head into his neighbors pen and started nipping at Donkey's thigh and Donkey kicked the camel right in the head~Chad's favorite part of the fair.
The Corn Water Towner-Apparently the largest ear of corn in the world

Prize winning leaves...so random!  Think I'll enter the contest next year
 Finally....
Just us at the fair!

Ok, when I saw the little picture thumbnail on facebook I thought the piglets were baby naked rats, so I'm glad they are piglets! Piglets are my favorite too, until they get big! Looks like you had tons of fun. Fairs are fun!
