Do I look Mexican?
Let me just start by saying I love kids! I subbed today at an elementary school in music-. The school I was at is predominately hispanic population. A few funny events with the 2nd graders...
*"Are you in High School?"
*"What's your favorite food?", "I LOVE Mexican" ---Cheers and clapping.
*"Thank you for coming to our class today. I had so much fun!" (very cute)
FINALLY, MY FAVORITE....
*Singing Feliz Navidad, little hispanic girl said, "Are you Mexican?"
"No," I replied. "Well, then how do you know Spanish?!"
Another little girl, "I know, you're half Mexican!!" (Ha!!)
