Trees

One of the things I love the most about the fall season is the changing colors on the leaves of the trees. This is my tree. It is so beautiful with its red, organge, maroon, yellow and green leaves. I don't think I have ever seen so many colors on one tree. This is the tree I see everyday when I leave for work in the morning and the tree I see everyday upon arriving home. Of course the picture does not do it justice and sadly now the tree is now covered with snow.

ast night at the Legends Outlet Mall they had a tree lighting ceremony to kick off the Christmas Holiday Season. We bundled up and headed to Scheel's where we met up with my parents, Jessica, Treavor and Ethan.
For the most part it was a lot of fun. There was a vocal jazz group there that sang Christmas Carols and some other songs and then they lit the tree.
The Christmas tree was a bit disappointing. It just had white lights and no decorations but it was still a lot of fun. It definately got me into the Christmas mood. And the donuts, cream puffs and hot chocolate afterwards were pretty good too :P

Finally, just a quick update, Chad had his first interview for residency and it seemed to be a success. He has a couple more during December and one that even I get to go on! MINNESOTA :) I am super excited!!
I am a week and a half away from completing student teaching and graduating from UNR. I can't believe the end is really approaching.
We hope everyone has a wonerful rest of November and a very Happy Thanksgiving.

I think pictures of both of your trees are beautiful. They each tell their own story and represent something special. Glad you're coming to the end!! Wonder what's around the corner next.
We had so much fun seeing you guys on Saturday night! Thanks for posting the picture of us! Can't wait to see you Thursday!!
