What a Week!
This week was CRAZY! On Monday, I had to say good bye to my wonderful kids @ Lena Juniper Elementary School. I was sad. I spent 7 weeks with them and grew pretty attached.. ask Chad :)
I also started at my high school placement on Tuesday. I had one day with my lead teacher and then subbing for 4 days. I was met with some grim news from my lead teacher. (I won't go into detail just because my blog is not private...never know who's reading). To make a long story short, my first day experience wasn't great. I also had to make a tough decision-tough for me anyway: put my internship on hold for 2-4 weeks (potentially until January) or switch schools/teachers. It took a lot of courage for me to call my supervisor and tell her that I didn't feel like the current placement was going to work. Luckily, the College of Education at UNR was in agreement with me as well-I begin my new, new placement on Tuesday. I am really excited! I get to do my student teaching at the ol' Alma mater Reed HS. (If you want the full story you can ask me about it later). I am feeling very relieved at this moment.

G-O-L-F
Today Chad and I went golfing with Sara and Chris. Chad and I have been trying to decide if we should buy me a set of clubs-we thought we should go at least once before we buy and see if I like it...I liked it! It was fun. We played 9 holes. Chad had a break through, he tied Chris with a score of 46 (usually he loses). I don't mean to brag or anything but I did pretty well for a first timer with a score of 44...what can I say? I'm a natural (really it was probably a fluke). Good times had by all!
