For the summer I decided I wanted to do some easy/fun reading. I decided to ransack some old boxes with Chad's help and found 3 of my favorite books from the olden days. I remember just loving them so hopefully I will not be disappointed when reading them a second time now that I'm older and wider. What were some of your favorite books as a kid?

I LOVED Island of the Blue Dolphins. You should try to read all of the NYRA books (Nevada Young Reader Awards) Some of them are strange, but most of them are amazing!

I haven't read any of these books. I'm probably WAY too old. I do like to read young adult easy readers too (for several reasons) Some of my favorite books from back then are...All the Wrinkle in Time books. To Kill a Mocking Bird, Gone With the Wind, Where the Red Fern Grows. In high school I read and loved Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre etc. I tried to reread them when the kids were little and they were WAY too slow. Maybe brains go to mush after giving birth. Not sure...Chad said it's because my brain cells had started to die :) In six years (when he's 31) I'm going to remind him! ps sorry to write so much.
