AOA=High Class Society
Yesterday Chad and I flew out to Las Vegas and back (all in the span of about 8 hours) for the AOA induction brunch. Now when someone says "Hey come to this AOA brunch" what do you think? We thought buffet style french toast, muffins, juice maybe some scrambled eggs...NO!! It all went down hill when the brought out the appetizer-cracker/bread with mushrooms and garnish (eww-I made Chad gag mine down too). It was an interesting experience to say the least.
A few things we learned...
-We are NOT high society people
-I prefer In 'n Out burger to a gormet meal
-I never knew that 3 asparagus, a very thinly sliced grapefruit and orange with some weird white stuff that tasted like a tire was called a salad
-Rolls could be a life saver when you are starving and you have no idea what you have been eating
-Chocolate mouse on a crispy piece of chocolate could be heavenly
-People just have to have coffee with desert
-That dessert is was even part of brunch
-Rooms at the 4 Seasons cost between $200 a night to $3,500
-Men in white pants...very ritzy
But I also learned that AOA is such an honor and I am so glad that Chad was chosen to be a part of it. It was also very kind of them to fly us out to Vegas to take part in this special event.
While we were in Vegas for the day we got to meet up with our brother-in-law Chris and go down to the Bellaggio for some crepes! YUM!!! Bananna's Foster and interesting as well but VERY tastey!
**My camera died so hopefully someone will send us a picture from the event and I will post it when I get it.
