Weekend

Just a little update from us. Chad finished up the first part of his surgery rotation on Friday as well as getting his scores back from psychiatry. He did very well and I am very proud of him. He headed off to Vegas today. 9 weeks!! Good luck babe!!!

This weekend though, we got to spend a lot of time together. On Friday night Chad and I went out to eat at Bully's Sports Bar and Grille. It was fantastic and then we sought out the local corn maze. It was pretty good for being about 10 minutes from Down Town. Here are a few of our pictures from the adventure.

What the heck is this thing? 3 horned goat???? Who knows...

Wooly sheep

Cow...as if we haven't seen one before :)
After our corn maze adventure we went home and I watched the Proposal while Chad slept. He tried...he really did.
Saturday we got to go to the temple in the morning. There were only 5 people in our session...that made me really sad and we have yet to attend the temple without being asked if we are related to Don Watts...Kelli maybe you could do some research for us. I think we might start wearing a sign that says "As far as we know we are not related to Don Watts"
Then we ventured up to South Tahoe for an Izzy Burger...best burger Chad has ever had. It's pretty good and I'm not a big burger fan. It's definaately worth the drive. Tahoe is also very beautiful this time of year.
After that we got Chad all packed up and ready to go and we BOTH watched the Proposal. Definately a movie all should watch...great for men...enough comedy to balance out the romance.
Hope everyone is doing well. Enjoy your week!!

That's so funny that people ask you if you are realted to Don Watts. I kind of am. His daughter Emily is my sister in law.
I agree, The Proposal is so FUNNY!

Amanda, who is Don Watts? I can't look up live people :) Do you know his parents or anything? Glad you had a good full weekend. Pull out the memories when the weekends get long. Chad will be home before you know it because he'll be home before Christmas and that is right around the corner!
