The Lost Symbol

I just finished reading this book. I would have to say that it was pretty excellent. I enjoy Dan Brown's writing. I love how each chapeter jumps around and makes you want to keep reading. This one was a little more interesting just because it's about American history and the story takes place in the US. However, I would have to say that this one was also a lot weirder than the others. It was just gorry and the main character is psychotic! Someone at school was surprised that I was reading Dan Brown knowing that I am a very religious person and Dan Brown does say some weird things about religion. Everything is very scientific. I think you just have to take it for what it is. It would be interesting to find out Dan Brown's beliefs. I would definately recommend the book though. It's definately a thriller!!

Have you read Hunger Games? I just ordered them online because I have heard nothing but great things about it. I might have to read The Lost Symbol, I see that book everywhere! I'm reading Strangling Your Husband is Not an Option and it is fantastic. Great read.

How funny. Sara and I were just talking about these books today. I read The Hunger Games for last month's book club. It's pretty good--there is also a second book that I heard was pretty good too. Eventually there will be a third I've heard.

And ditto on the Strangling Your Husband is Not an Option book. It was a good read. I believe the author spoke at the Time Out for Women that was in Reno a few years ago.

I have a friend who loves Dan Brown's books. I've never actually read one. Is there one I should start with? Or will any order do? Be strong. These next few? weeks will go by :) Thinking of you both.

If you want to read the Robert Langdon Stories (Davinci Code, this one, Angels and Demons) Angles and Demons, although it was written after Da Vinci Code is chronologically first...I would start there. It's where I started. It's really good.

Thanks for thinking of us :)
