Goodbye D122 & New Adventures
As you all pretty much know, Chad headed off to Vegas today so the last week we spent doing pretty much nothing but packing, moving, packing, moving. We said goodbye to our first place together but hello to an old friend...my parents house. We went from our two bed, two bath appartment :) and a little bit of closet and drawer space in another. We are so grateful to my parents for letting us live with them, or me live with them while Chad is away in Vegas and grateful to Stewart's parents for giving Chad somewhere to live in Vegas. So here is our old appartment and our new home.-which I am still wokring on organizing... 
On Thursday, Chad and took a break from moving to spend the day together at Tahoe...we thought we should make at least 1 of my 3 days off a really fun one. We floated in our floaties, scaled some large rocks (Chad had to help me a lot...I'm pretty much a pansy when climing boulders in slippery flip flops), learned lots about the lake on a walk around the park and of course took some goofy pictures. It was really great to be able to have that day together. 
On Friday we saw Sandra Bullock's new movie The Proposal which I would definately recommend. It was pretty hilarious. Even Chad said it was one of the better chick flicks I have dragged him to lately. And finally, last night we got to go to our first Reno Aces game. I didn't have a camera :( But it was really fun. We got to see a few homeruns and I think the Aces ended up winning...we left when the 9th inning started. And today we sent Chad off to Vegas, but he'll be home for the 4th so I am really excited about that. Enjoy our pictures...Hope you are all enjoying your summer :)
