Weekend of Freedom

Okay, so this weekend was such a refresher. Like I said before, we have been really busy with school and work and haven't really had a weekend to just hang out and relax. So this weekend we made the most of it.

Thursday, after dinner and after work, I decided that I wanted to go do something so Chad picked wandering around the mall. But before we left I had to make myself look presentable and so he decided to become a comedian. I knew I married a funny man but I keep telling him he should go into comedy. On Thursday night he came up with this old man character, Harold the III. He had the look, the voice...everything. I was dying laughing. I just had to get out the camera. Then after I was ready and Chad was back to being Chad, we took some random pictures.

Friday, we woke up to the first snow of the season. We took pictures before school but you can't really tell that it was snowing. But I, of course, was very excited...(I love snow) We still had school and I had to go to work but we met up with my mom and dad and Sara and Chris for a date night...Time Out for Couples. If you don't know, it's a church event where people talk about marriage and how to better our relationships. It was a lot of fun.

Saturday Chad had a football game in the morning for the Stake and unfortunately they lost but I was somewhat happy because it was cold and I got to go shopping after. I was on a mission for "hooker boots" as Chad calls them...black tall leather boots to wear with dresses and such. Anyway, we met up with my parents and Ally and Zack for lunch at Taco Bell and then it was off to find boots...which we did. :) Then we went home to get ready for the BBQ at Sara and Chris's. Some people Chad goes to school with had birthday's in October and Mike's girlfriend was in town with their georgeous dog. It was good food, good company...a great time.

Sunday was pretty relaxing...stake conference, Nightmare Before Christmas-Chad's first viewing and he fell asleep, coloing with the kids, awesome dinner and Iron Man..which is an AWESOME movie...watch it if you haven't.
