Well, I decided I should write about our honeymoon since I never did so and I just have too many good pictures. Chad and I went on our honeymoon to San Diego/ Coronado, CA. We actually stayed at a resort in Coronado which was full of rediculous prices, snobby people and not even a hot tub in the room which we got when we stayed at the Silver Legacy. Needless to say we had a lot of fun making fun of all the rediculous things like bed turn down service which is $6 a night.
Anyway, on our first full day there we went to the beach which was right next to our hotel. We loved it. Chad was especially impressed by the very fine sand-He actually brought some home with us.
Then the second day, it was off to Sea World. Chad had never been and the last time I was there I was 3 or 4. We saw whales(Shamu), sharks, penguins, got to have a star fish stuck to our hands, we saw a sea otter which carried a pepsi can and the fattest, nastiest walrus ever! That night we discovered our favorite bakery/cafe in Coronado. It was so good that we ate breakfast there the next two days!
The third day we sought out the Wild Animal Park I say sought because it was an adventure finding the place. First of all, never trust google directions. They led us to the Zoo and then we almost ran out of gas when we finally were on the right track to the Wild Animal Park. But it was fun and we got to see lots of animals.
The next week, we went to Idaho for another reception and after we went and stayed in a family friend's cabin. We got to roast marshmallows and have s'mores float down the river and sit in natural hot pots. It was great.
